STORY

The Rebel forces and the Imperial Empire have been at war for many years all for one purpose-domination. But now, it looks like the Imperials are determined to bring this war to its final conclusion; a surprise attack on the Rebel's home planet, Earth.

The Empire does not plan to destroy the planet however. No, they couldn't, what with Earth's vast resources of water and other valuable elements, they plan to take over it by resorting to human slavery and expand their colonies. Human civilization is bound to be doomed if the Rebel forces don’t do something.

But with advanced technology, the Imperial forces can travel at expeditious speeds that not even Earth's defence can pick up on their radar. From what it shows, the first fleet of spacecrafts are now travelling and preparing to get in position six hours before they invade.

The question still lingers. Who wins? Interpret your own ending.

This sir, is what I've been working on what seemed like a century. Numerous delays because of damn school and life, but also been trying to perfect this piece. It's my second space artwork, but since the beginning, I’ve wanted to make this my biggest project yet. I apologize if some of this stuff seems a little cliched, it’s hard to be original when your new to a genre in art , but I did my best...

This is also a second collab I’ve done, this time with Ol’Dirty Bastard. He provided the rendered ships and I did the rest. ODB doesn’t have an account here btw.

Hours: Only God knows.
Layers: So many that tweaking this was becoming a bitch. Why so much? Because I was exploring most of this by myself. The rest is learning from the great tutorials provided by
Size: 12x18 inches, translated into 3600x5400 pixels.

I’m not sure if I’ll make this a trilogy. Although I’d love to make a sequel, the idea I have would require immense skill in space art. I’ve said pretty much everything, just make sure to see this in full view to see all the detail and please be patient loading this, its a large resolution.
